The Girl On The Train Movie is out today! I will be seeing it next week with a group from work. We’ve all read the book with differing opinions and can’t wait to see how it translates on the big screen. To be completely honest, this wasn’t my favorite book. I was excepting much more from it after having LOVED Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. The premise for The Girl On The Train was very similar to Gone Girl so I thought it would be a great read. I was annoyed by the main character even though I understood where her demons came from. I didn’t like all the “red herrings” thrown in to make me think certain characters were the murderer either. I know that throwing us off is the point, I just think that other books have done this much better.
PS: Our book pick for October is on this list! I’m about halfway through the audio version of Behind Closed Doors by BA Paris and I am loving it. I highly recommend the audio version.
