Happy Friday!! I have a random question for you all. Do you read the book before the movie or after you see the movie? Is it a requirement you make of yourself to read the book in order to see the movie? For me, I always prefer to read the book before I see the movie. It isn’t a hard stop for me that will prevent me from watching the movie if I haven’t yet read the book though. There have been times I promised myself that I would still read the book after seeing the movie adaptation, but who am I kidding? I can’t remember one book I actually read after watching the movie. Life is too short to waste time reading something you just watched come to life. I can no longer create the characters in my mind after seeing the actors portray them. I also can’t visualize the scenery on my own or anticipate where the book is taking me since I’ve already experienced the ending. This is all my opinion obviously. I would love to hear if you feel different!
