Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty on HBO!

Ok ya’ll, I just finished the first three episodes of HBO’s adaptation of the novel Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. The verdict is… A++++++! It is so super fantastic I had to remind you all to either, A. Read the book! B. Watch the show or C. DO BOTH! My answer suggestion is C. DO BOTH! (asap). The cast is a phenomenal group of actresses who each bring such strength to their characters. Reese Witherspoon is especially great as Madeline and Nicole Kidman embodies her character Celeste. This series is sexy, dark and moody but don’t let that fool you into thinking there aren’t sweet and humorous moments throughout. As someone who has read the book, I truly believe this cast is bringing the characters to life. I am an advocate of the “read the book first then watch the movie” method, in this case the miniseries so do that if you have time.
