I can’t wait for my copy to arrive tomorrow!! One of my favorite authors Tom Perrotta has a new book out called Mrs. Fletcher. Unfortunately I didn’t get an advanced copy like I requested, but I ordered it from Amazon. If you are unfamiliar with his work, he wrote The Leftovers (which was turned into one of my favorite shows on HBO), Election (the movie adaptation starred Reese Witherspoon), and Little Children (which also was turned into a movie starring Patrick Wilson and Kate Winslet). So if his track record continues, this book will probably be great and will probably be adapted for either the TV or Movie screen at some point. His writing style is dark humor and it sounds like this new book is similar. One reviewer said it was “Raunchy but sweet.” Ha! Sounds right up my alley. Let me know if you pick this up.
