Anna Faris (pronounced Ahhh-Na not Ann-Na) is one of my favorite actresses. She is sweet and hilarious with absolutely perfect comedic timing. I have loved her in all of her movies especially “House Bunny” and the “Scary Movie” series. She is currently starring in the hit show “Mom” on CBS with Allison Janney and I laugh my butt off every time it’s on. She started a podcast called “Unqualified” (you should subscribe on iTunes!) two years ago with her friend Sim Sarna which I have been subscribed to since it began. She is wonderfully warm and charming plus she genuinely cares about her listeners and the fans that call in looking for honest answers to their real life questions. Her guests on the podcast range from comedians to actors and she even had Katie Couric on an early episode! Anna will be releasing her memoir also titled “Unqualified” on October 24, 2017. I cannot wait to read it! I wasn’t able to obtain an advanced copy, but I will happily pay for the book when it is released! She has mentioned in the media how nervous she is for people to read it, but my bet is that it will be a wonderful and funny book that will make its readers smile. I can’t wait to see it on my bookshelf for years to come. Congratulations Anna on being brave and sharing your story with the world.

Anna Faris has advice for you. And it’s great advice, because she’s been through it all, and she wants to tell you what she’s learned. After surviving an awkward childhood (when she bribed the fastest boy in the third grade with ice cream), navigating dating and marriage in Hollywood, and building a podcast around romantic advice, Anna has plenty of lessons to share: Advocate for yourself. Know that there are wonderful people out there and that a great relationship is possible. And, finally, don’t date magicians.
Her comic memoir, Unqualified, shares Anna’s candid, sympathetic, and entertaining stories of love lost and won. Part memoir—including stories about being “the short girl” in elementary school, finding and keeping female friends, and dealing with the pressures of the entertainment industry and parenthood—part humorous, unflinching advice from her hit podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the book will reveal Anna’s unique take on how to master the bizarre, chaotic, and ultimately rewarding world of love.
Hilarious, honest, and useful, Unqualified is the book Anna’s fans have been waiting for.
